District Road Safety Committee (August 2026). Bhaskar reported that the committee's monthly meeting at the Mini Secretariat, under the Additional Deputy Commissioner, took up school bus safety along with other road safety items.
What was said. The headline says private cabs and school buses will be checked. The officer said parents would be held responsible when minors drive, and officers were asked to keep a close watch on minor students who come to school on bikes or other vehicles.
A police check at Ganaur (April 2025). Amar Ujala reported that traffic police at the GT Road post in Ganaur acted against violations of road safety rules and of the Safe School Vehicle Policy.
What they found. School bus drivers were found without a uniform and seat belt, and one driver had no driving licence. The police warned of stern action if drivers keep breaking the rules.

The officer asked for a close watch on minors who come on bikes. A good bus service can reduce this. Ask: Which areas have no bus route yet?

Routes along the Delhi road

Sonipat routes can run along busy roads toward Delhi. This is general knowledge, not a report. Ask: Can the school set stop points on such a route and see when the bus reaches each one?
